Her Majesty, Prince Philip and Camilla paid a visit to our four displays on the opening day of the Chelsea Flower Show in 2011
Peter said: "We showed Her Majesty a very special posy of sweet peas (presented by eight-year-old pupil Morgan Pritchard) which included Charlie's Angel, Windsor, Royal Wedding as well as Sweet William."
Our displays, called the Generation Gardens, are designed to show what is possible in normal home gardens.
Two of them were a labour of love by 2,000 primary school children - many of whom had never planted a bulb before - from 40 schools across the country.
Peter said: "The Queen was very pleased to hear that 2,000 school children from Devon to Lincolnshire have been involved in the garden, growing 35 different varieties of vegetables.
