School Closure & Resources

COVID-19 – Home Learning

During these unprecedented times, classes have been set home-learning as you are encouraged to continue with your studies. Here are the instructions and resources to support you.

As a school, we have created a home learning pack full of ideas and websites to continue to educate your children. These have been sorted into subject specific packs, although there are many cross curricular activities which cover more than one subject.

Teachers will be providing children with reading books to take home, please take good care of the books for us and return them when school resumes. Your child will also bring home an exercise book, pencil and basic equipment to help you if you do any written work.

The emails below are for parents to contact their child’s class teacher with any questions or if support/advice is needed during this time with regards to the home learning pack.

Teachers will be checking their emails daily and you should expect a reply within a day or two of your email. Teachers will do their utmost to support or explain any questions you may have or provide more ideas for how you could support your children in different areas of the curriculum.

If a teacher falls ill during the enforced closure, your emails will be re-directed to a member of the Senior Leadership Team who will do their best to respond to your email.

This will be in place from Monday 23rd March until Friday 3rd April.

If the enforced closure continues after the Easter break, then you will be notified and the email contact service will recommence on Monday 20th April 2020.
